Twodots Keos drone flight test
Quick test of my first drone, the Twodots Keos drone.
I have some issues but considering the price I'm quite happy 👍
In this video I am using the circle flight mode, it is flying in a circle with a 1.5m radius
When I went to the shop I forgot that I needed long range 4g/gps, the range is a bit limited, my primary task was to take a picture of something that is a distance away.
I hadn't considered that the camera is fixed forward facing, for my task this is OK but not for much else. A swivel or adjustable camera would be really useful.
I thought the camera would be good enough but the photos are much lower quality than the video, I think the app just takes a picture from the video feed.
The instructions are limited, I have not yet been able to get follow me or gesture control to work but I will put this down to my own inexperience with drones.
It has an annoying habit of just flying wherever it wants, I crashed into a tree 2mins before this, had to use a stick to get it down 😂
The drone came with 4 spare rotor blades, I am still using the original set, considering how many times I have crashed it I am impressed!
