My handsome husband and I have decided to learn a new skill, can you guess what it is from this picture? 😊
This one should give it away, if the first one didn’t…we’re learning how to weave baskets. This is mine just after I started working on the sides. 😊
He made it look so easy when he was working on his. This is how his finished basket turned out. We both like it and I was going to try and make mine match his, but its proving to be a bit tougher for my fingers than his, so mine hasn’t been finished yet…I’ll try to get it done tomorrow, but I needed to do the house cleaning and some baking and I’m out of energy, so I’m writing my post instead of finishing it. 😊
My favourite tree always looks so pretty with the setting sun behind her. 😊
It’s been so nice this week that we’ve been keeping the window in our front door open, so the dogs can run in and out as much as they want. It helped keep the pigeons on their toes whenever they thought about trying to knock all the food out of the feeders and onto the ground inside the dog run. Our pretty grand-puppy Mya had a blast standing right in front of the open window and daring the pigeons to come a little closer. 😊

Our view of Mount Katahdin, over in Maine, USA has been spectacular this week. 😊
We have a first come first served policy here on the homestead. Most days it’s the Ravens that grab the eggs off the posts, but twice this week a few Blue Jays beat them to them. 😊
We went from frost on everything and snow everywhere last week to plus 5 Celsius and grass showing through on our pathways to the garage and barn and gravel showing through on our driveway this week, we’ve not seen a milder winter than this one before, in all the years we’ve lived here. 😊
Pigeons and Snow Buntings coming down for a snack. 😊
We’ve had a couple of really nice loaves of raisin bread this week. 😊
We did a little greenhouse reorganization in our basement and the plants all seem to approve. 😊
