Trying to post with SteemPeak
Not completely Satisfied!!
I just made a post, tried to upload some photos, got the message that I reached my daily limit after 4 pictures and 6 broken links! (WTF!?)
Tried to fix the broken links, which resulted in the page reloaded and all my data and pictures disappeared! Autosafe is a niiice function! - and I am not allowed to put new photos, because I "only have 0.33 MB left" >:(
What is up with a daily limit!?
Never seen that on steemit.com!
I was really excited at first to see that you can upload MORE THAN ONE photo at a time and see the full post as you edit -way cool, but that's not of much use, when I in the end cannot include a SINGLE picture in my post!
So I am very disappointed in my first attempt to post with https://steempeak.com/
I think I will give it another go tomorrow when I have more photo allowance - I feel like a kid in unfair detention! - and see if I can manage to upload something with a different approach, from the wisdom I've gathered today on my SteemPeak failure!
I'm glad that you tried to publish a post with steempeak and I'm sorry that you had problem with the daily upload limit. This is something we are already talking about and we really want to find a way to let user upload more than 15MB per day. But we are a really young community and currently we don't have reward that can allow us to cover the cost of unlimited storage space.
Consider also that steemit.com (that have limit, but related to your bandwidth) for the first years doesn't allow upload at all, but users have to rely on external services to host their images. We allowed upload from day one, but we are tuning the limit according to the number of users that use our platform so we don't have huge costs for our infrastructure.
Hope you'll check it out again and find a way to upload your pictures or just use pictures hosted elsewhere.
Thank you for the response! Yes I will try try again :) And I understand the problem with storage space, but what do you mean that steemit.com doesn't allow upload at all for the first years? I never had problems uploading to steemit, or you mean it had it in the beginning?
I was just really happy about the option to upload more than one picture at a time, it made it much faster, so uploading pictures one by one on other pages and copy pasting, just complicates things even more for me.
But I guess I can try to use steempeak just for quick posts. For now I am at least quite happy with all the other features that doesnt include posting
