  • Orlando Magic 2-3

  • Miami Heat 0-5

The Final

The Orlando Summer League rounded at with the Dallas Mavericks clenching the Orlando title with a clutch moment from new signee Johnathon Motley who hit a jumper from around the free throw line with about 2 seconds remaining. Luke Kennard from The Detroit Pistons hit a deep three to tie just the play before!

Some standouts

  • Bam Adebayo from theMiami Heat showed flashes of what could the start of a very promising career. He averaged 17.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks. He had some trouble with his shooting but that can be worked on.
  • Henry Ellenson along with Luke Kennard both looked very good with Ellenson showing he is ready for some NBA minutes after being drafted in 2016 and Kennard being as advertised when he was drafted with the 12th pick in this year's draft.
  • Dwight Buycks and Brandon Paul from the Dallas Mavericks formed a very formidable backcourt duo averaging 34.3 points,9.9 rebounds, and 7.2 assists a game between the both of them. Also adding about 3 steals a game

I could go on fo a while but these are some that I thought really impressed. I left some big ones off the list I know and I encourage you to tell me who you thought was the most impressive!

My goodness Bam Adebayo looks like an absolute beast... Just not sure how many minutes he's going to get playing behind Whiteside.

Well keep in mind this guy is 19 so it's crazy to think what he gonna look like 5 years down the line under Whiteside's tutelage.

This year's rookie draft class actually has a lot of potential. It's filled with talent and looks like it can go down as one of the better draft class in the last 5 -10 years.

Yeah, it's amazing that most of these guys are only 19 years old!
