Tangier Terrace Life

Terrace time is an important component of any Moroccan adventure, particularly if it is spent on a medina (old city) rooftop with a view to match the sunshine. My Tangier terrace did not disappoint — with views of the Mediterranean, the port, a surprisingly colorful medina and even Spain. My stay in Tangier has been brief — I am about to depart on the night train for Marrakesh, but I must say I am impressed with this multicultural (at least in appearance) Mediterranean port city that many travelers in Morocco suggest to avoid.

As I prepare to depart Tangier, I unfortunately do not have strong enough Internet to upload the video I shot today on the terrace. Nonetheless, I will leave you with this recent video, which basically sums up my current state of mind — I don't want to leave. But I know I will be back...
