Unspoiled Wilderness (Original Photography)

I spent the long weekend hiking in northern Canada.  The great Canadian Shield is solid bedrock of ancient stone that runs miles deep.  It's rich in minerals and makes up much of the unexplored lands of Canada.  It's home to abundant wildlife and natural beauty.  The fresh water lakes and rivers contained within are deep, pristine and cleaner than water from any tap.

For me it was an opportunity to absorb the sounds of silence and breathe in an air of freedom.  I took many photos during my hike using only my trusty old Samsung Galaxy S2 phone.  I've shared a few of the photos of my peaceful adventure below.
