The Beat Goes On (Going with the flow)
Sometimes we just have to go with the flow. Life's crazy hectic enough most of the time. I learned a long time ago to sometimes just let it ride and like water on a duck's back, just chill.
I do think it's important to have and maintain a strong principled based and rock solid foundations in life. But not everything is so super important that I need to fight tooth and nail just to come out on top. So for my own sanity I often just go with the flow...

Hold tight
Steady the waters
Calm the nerves
As the beat goes on
Pulsating in my head
Sometimes loud and crazy
Anxious and nervous
What am I doing here
Wasting my time
I've only got
So much of it left
Breathe
Hold tight
Steady the waters
Calm the nerves
As the beat goes on
Remember the great things
Still left to do
Before moving on
Up into the stars
Floating like dust in space
Trying something new
Looking for another place
To hang my coat
Fill up my tank
With cosmic wisdom
On my way
Upwards to transcendence
Turn the dial
Raise my frequency
Consciously
It's all about the experience
Hold tight
