In my spare time, in addition to my day job and in addition to my dabbling as a writer on Steemit and elsewhere, whilst trying to express my poetic side through creative writing, I design t-shirts and other products on Zazzle.com. Zazzle is an online marketplace where content producers can design printable content for sale on Zazzle in exchange for a set commission.

I enjoy the act of creative expression combined with the exercising of my capitalist tendencies in the hopes of maybe making a few bucks in commission while having some fun. What’s wrong with that? Nothing, I expect. Since February of this year, I’ve managed to earn a whopping $40 through Zazzle. Not much, but I enjoy it.

I'm a fellow Zazzler and I've had my share of run-ins with the Zazzle content police. I've never been dinged for being racist or offensive, but their complaints usually seem unfair, nitpicky, and arbitrary. The last time they came after me, it was for a design that included "abolish the Electoral College". I never got a good explanation from Zazzle of what was wrong with the design. Eventually, I removed "Electoral College" from the design and they let it through. Very frustrating. Love your t-shirts.

Also it's good to hear that I'm not the only one who's struggled with Zazzle. I kind of embelished the use of the word racist. They never actually said that to me. But I inferred it because it was a shirt about building the wall. I'm far from racist. I think my collections reflect that and reflect in a way things that interest me. I am far more about respecting the freedoms of others regardless of race, culture or viewpoint.
I don't draw divisions along the line of race or culture but rather ideologies and levels of rationality and open mindedness. Yet still even if I disagree with those on the other side of these lines, I will never try to forcibly stamp them out. It sounds like we are both on the same page.
You're right though political statements that counter their personal ones will get you censored by Zazzle. But as I'm sure you are aware this is happening everywhere now, YouTube, Google, local and state governments, the workplace etc.

Argumentum ad Populum is a logical fallacy. More to the point, there are apparently millions of Americans who think all Mexicans are rapists. So saying these people don't think the wall is racist isn't saying much...
Hi Thanks for your comment. I suppose from my humble perspective I don't see the wall issue as a race issue. So it's hard for me to understand the presumption of racism. I see a nation building a wall no different than a homeowner locking their doors at night. Not everyone will break into your home in the middle of the night but it's understandable when one locks their doors. It's not ideal but it's a plausible reaction to a problem, real or perceived. There's probably better solutions out there though. I would expect that it wouldn't matter if the illegal immigration were Mexicans or Canadians or dolphins. A wall could still be a plausible solution - and not racist. Thanks again.
You'll notice no one is calling for a border wall on the Canadian border. I can see why someone might think it isn't a race issue, but when you look closer I think the racism becomes apparent. You'll notice the same people who want the wall do NOT want to improve immigration so that people could come here legally. They just don't want Mexicans here... the "illegal" part is just to make it sound nice.

I watched the clip. Pretty funny skit. I think he makes a good case that Trump acts just like any other politician ever has. Never sticks to an answer and really has no clue what something will take to get done until it's half way done. Trump or Clinton don't seem like great choices. Sanders probably was best, but never had a chance. Either way the people will decide from here on in. Cheers.
Agree Sanders was the best, but Clinton is miles better than Trump imho. I might vote Johnson if it looks pretty clear Clinton's going to win just because we need more third party attention.
