The House That Love Built ❤
Once upon a time...
The young man spent many hours of his day thinking and scheming of ways to make the young maiden fall more in love. He often presented her with handmade gifts, poems and roses he had grown from his flower beds.
Shortly after their marriage proposal was announced, he traveled a far distance to his love to give her a gift that would truely symbolize all he planned for their future together.
He had built her a house.
But this was no ordinary house. It was magical, for the roof was made of snowflakes and the walls made of hearts.
The young maiden accepted this gift, and cherished it with all her heart.
Many years later, after they had been happily in love and married for eleven years, they decided they needed a new adventure! The bride admitted to the Yeti, for that was now his name, that she had married him for his adventurous heart, and that she couldn't wait to see their new future.
They picked a new land, foreign to them in the southern mountains. They packed their meager belongings, and set out to claim a dream.
The Yeti spent countless hours building a house his bride would love. And they worked together tirelessly picking the perfect details that made it a home.
One day, after unpacking a box, the bride found the magical house the Yeti had built her so long ago. To her amazement it looked just like the house she lived in now. It even had a white roof! She immediately hung it inside, and promised in her heart, that she would never forget the young man her made this magical house, or the grown man that had built her a home.
I hope you enjoyed reading this! I have a confession...this is a true story about me and the Yeti! He loved to give me the best gifts, and while he was still living at home, he built me a house made from k-nex...his k-nex...if that gives you an idea of how young we were! Thanks for reading and visiting for a minute!
With much love,
Stacie D
