A Look Inside #31: Rest? Really?!
Rest! Really?! Yep, I can't believe the night that I had last night. I must have slept like garbage, because I woke up and my blanket was flipped completely over. That's not really a big deal, but it is a sleeping bag haha.
So when we hit the road back in 2018 we all got some heavy duty real nice sleeping bags. They have worked so well that when we settled here on the farm I kept using it. Stacie D and I have an awesome futon that we sleep on and then we use two different sleeping bags. Unfortunately, the soft and warm side was facing up, and I got to cuddle with the canvas side haha.
So naturally I jumped out of bed today and went right to work. I knew that we had something going on this evening, so I wanted to get it done early. I am just about to finish up a custom knife for a lady farrier down in Northern Arkansas. It is a beautiful piece. It has maple scales with blue liners..stay tuned for a post about that!
When it comes to life and balance, we need rest. Just like everything else in this world, we were made to rest. To turn off and turn back on again. Our minds need to almost reset.

We have some sheets like that... nice and soft/smooth on one side... sandpaper on the other lol... You are right; we need to find a balance between work and rest... and yes, we all need to reboot sometimes too!
