My Bug Out Chronicles: social pressure & liberty muffins

So we are now in our third full day at our "bug out" location. The work that we agreed to do is now done! In 2 days we emptied the house of nearly 15 contractor sized trash bags, as well as old furniture. So what do we do now!

There is no actual time frame for being here. So it could be two weeks or two months. Either way, we are going to have a great experience.

I am shifting gears and focusing more on social media. I am reaching out with my content on more platforms and trying to diversify my opportunities. I am also cranking up my efforts in curating for @innerblocks. There are still an average of 100+ posts being supported each week through a team of Inner Blocks volunteers!!

With being engaged more on social media, I have noticed a a roar from the human animal. Something called social pressure. It is like trolling online, but more in the physical world. It is when someone is doing something that they feel is right for themselves and their family and then implies that if you are nit doing the same then you aren't doing enough.

It is a weird combination of trolling and virtue signalling, but it seems to be running wild. I have been saying it for years, that people want to feel validated in there actions and decisions. This isn't new, this has always been common. It is the idea of feeling like you are making a "good" or "right" decision, and the confirmation comes from others agreeing with you.

So I have seen plenty of that in the last couple of days. Oh, and also, where we are now everyone things they already had this virus in Nov. Dec. And Jan. They tell me stories about how they felt and how the doctors couldn't really identify what it was, but now they see the list of symptoms and believe they had it. I would agree. I think this has been around a bit longer that the media is telling us.

So while we are standing in the outside and apparently watching the world burn, we are starting the day with some chocolate muffins! The Inventor had an idea for some amazing muffins, so Stacie D helped him put together something that is making the house smell amazing.

Just like the idea of Liberty this and Liberty that. In theme with my liberty beard, and our liberty garden...we are calling them liberty muffins. Because...why not! Haha
