Today is an amazing day....I received a box from masecraftsupply.com!!!
So I was putting my knife pieces out on social media and someone got in contact with me about knife handles and materials. They asked if I normally use wood for handles and if I would be interested in trying some micarta...The answer was an easy one haha.
After exchanging a little information, we were rolling. I have been using different types of wood for years, and now this would be a great chance to try something new.

Always a good day when goodies arrive at the doorstep...Looks like there's a bit to work with there - Nice of them to shoot you some samples to try. Good marketing and a great way to start relationships.
For sure! She was so nice. I am excited to get started with it all. Alot of new things to learn.
It will be interesting to see what your thoughts are once you've used it and whether you prefer the wood instead. I guess it depends on the knife and its purpose though. I've never had a wood-handled knife so it will be cool for me to have one...Still, synthetics have their uses and can be more reliable I suppose.
