Rough and Gooey

There is something that I really love...amazing cake!

Today Stacie D (@freedomtowrite) jumped into the kitchen and started banging out cakes! Where we are currently staying is near our old homestead, and we see the old neighbors every now and then. As a gesture she was making them a german chocolate cake.

I have never really had german chocolate cake before, but it was amazing. I wasn't too sure how it was going to go, but I got it gooey like I like it.

I got a couple of containers of frosting and let it rip!

Instead of a nice and orderly cake, I decided to just make it rough but gooey.

I slathered the frosting between all of the layers and stacked it to the sky. I have a thing for sweets, and today definitely hit the spot.
