Does the information match the experience
We have all heard the expression " well, it looks right on paper". That is because we have alot of information that may not really add up when you add in real life factors.
This past year I put out a video about Brown Recluse spiders, how to identify them and how I treated the bite. It is my first video to sort of trend. I am just now up to 2.2k views. That is awesome, and I am really excited to have that sort of response.
In the video I talk about how I handled the situation from a first hand experience. So when I was actually bitten, what did I do. That is all well and good until someone jumped on there today and made an amazing comment, and it was filled with the proper science and the facts.
Unfortunately, it turns out that on paper what I did wasn't the right thing to do, and seems that it would actually make it worse. The only issue is...it didn't. So the science and the facts about all of the chemicals and the reactions and things didn't actually match what happened in real life.
So that got me thinking about other things that may not line up. Can you think of something in your life that you have actually experienced that "shouldn't have been". Something that said it was one way on paper, but actually didn't turn out that way? I would love to hear about it in the comments below!
Be well
