I had the wonderful opportunity to listen to a guru this weekend. He challenged the idea if being rational and logical, especially when it comes to our food.
Is it possible that we take in more from our food than we think? Is it possible that we take in energy, life, fear. Are we controlled by what we consume. Do we literally become what we eat or drink. Just an idea.

I really believe we are what we eat. You eat junk food and we become unhealthy. Today's food is mostly processed with the natural goodness extracted and chemicals added for flavour enhancement. Sounds good doesn't it? Not likely. Were need to feed both our minds and bodies with wholesome nourishment.
Yes! I agree. It is amazing what passes as food, and we seem to be ok with it.
What you talked about reminded me of a video I watched once. I really wish I could find it, but I will try to summarize a point he made. Now, just a warning, you may not agree with what I’m about to say and that is a-ok! But you mentioned spirituality and food. If you read the dietary laws in Leviticus 11 (which I believe we are still to obey) you will see that pigs (and rabbits) are not clean food. Then I want to bring up Matthew 8: 31-32, how the demons were cast into the swine. So I wonder, if when we eat unclean food, if there isn’t something spiritual going on there? Just something to chew on. Pun intended :)
Haha, no need for a warning, I just enjoy others perspective. I am with you about the idea of eating unclean foods. My question would be...could there be more. I know the bible outlines unclean, but are there other faiths around the world that have an opinion about 'unclean' but phrase it differently regarding how it has a positive or negative effect on our bodies and spirit... 🙃
