It was during my high school that I first started to play frisbee. I wasn't really drawn to sports as a kids, but once I started playing frisbee... I knew it was for me.

I can remember playing with my friends everywhere we went. We would always have one or two around. We would play at peoples houses, school, church, and it parks.

There is a feeling I get when I launch that frisbee straight and flat, right toward someone. It feels like throwing the perfect football spiral. For me, rocketing a frisbee down field is way more fun than football.

Stacieb D (@freedomtowrite) and I started playing frisbee with our kids at an early age. It had been on and off through the years, but it is always nice to start back up again.

This morning we woke up in the parking lot of a Walmart, in some sleepy town in Kentucky. Stacie D came out of the store and surprised me with a brand new frisbee.

It took no time at all to start playing after breakfast. Everyone got in on it. I would say that this adventure just got a whole lot nicer!
