It is never too late to create something
I hope to take a minute this morning and talk about hope and joy. To talk about timing and creating. My journey on steemit is still what I consider very new. I started with the hope of carrying over my homestead adventure from facebook and youtube. I found out quickly that maybe this is not the thing to do. I post some videos and blogs about homesteading and it did ok, but didn't seem to be noticed. I posted a couple times about adventures, philosophy, photography and life. I founs that each tag that I put on a post had a different response. Each combination of the 5 allowed tags turned up different results. I don't know much about crypto currency or block chains, but that doesn't slow me down. My goal for my steemit adventure is not about money, but about community. When I see that others have read my posts, it is more exciting than seeing the upvoted money. When I see that people arw enjoying what I am posting, it makes me want to post more. To be more active. I have found that at first it was a bit discouraging when my posts didn't seem to be noticed, but then it changed. I found that I really enjoyed creating content. I started seeing things a little differently. I noticed that I had more photo opportunities, or events in our lives, or profound thoughts while meditating. So, I encourage anyone that may find my post to keep creating. Keep sharing. Don't worry.
To add onto this I want to share a real life story about hope and change. I have been having more conversations with people lately about not having time, or being too late in life to start something. One conversation was with a great lady that is about to turn 60. When we speak about trying new things she often refers back to her age. This struck me as odd. A sort of old paradigm. The idea that we work 30 years, retire and a few years later die. The idea that we have an end time, or the idea that we have a limited chance to create something new. I met thus perspective of hers with several stories. I have shared numerous examples of others that have started somerhing new later in life. Pictures of senior aged yoga instructors. Over 60 models. Examples of individuals over 60 starting new business. Again, if you have found your way to my post I hope you are encouraged. Find inspiration and make something happen! Have a great day!
