How To Explain Crypto Currency To Friends and Family

Thanks for jumping in with my as I talk about one of the most asked questions in my world....how to explain cryptocurrency to friends and family. This is something that effects nearly every person that I know who works with digital assets.

Sometimes we get into the conversation and you can see that there is some serious engagement. You can see all of the wheels turning and that there is a real effort to try to really understand everything that you are saying. Sometimes we forget that we are in this world everyday, and we start using words that are literally a whole different language.

You want to be careful to not try to explain things that you don't understand too much and muddy the water. Sometimes trying to vomit words you don't understand will lead to the other person having less of an idea that when you first started.

What I have found to be the key when explaining crypto to friends and family is to not. I try to steer the conversation toward how much I enjoy it. If I can explain what I DO know, and be passionate about it it will come across with a different feel. Instead of them completely turning off your words they will shift to just liking it because you like it.

This may put you in a position that feels like a little kid that is getting pat on the head after explaining that you love to make mud pies. It is the same thing. You don't have to explain anything about the mud pie...they just love you and support whatever you are doing.

That is what I have found works the best for me. As a full time content creator I am passionate about what I do. As a community building (Inner Blocks) I am determined to bring a new token and website to everyone. I will keep on doing what I am doing, and I encourage you to do the same.
