My Bug Out Chronicles: feeling relief and dodging bullets

Have you ever heard the phrase "dodging bullets"? That is what it feels like we are doing. So today I am keeping on track with my year long vlogging challenge, and my bug out chronicles. I am still feeling more feelings and emotions about "bugging out".

Today I am sitting in the back yard watching the sun rise. I can see my half built chicken coop, the spot for the garden, and my dogs running through the grass. I feel...relief.

Since the beginning of all of this quarantine business, we have had people sending us things regarding what Michigan is going. Even now, we are 800 miles away, and people continue to share what is going on there. I feel like we dodged a bullet.

When I think about how people are being restricted, I feel fortunate that we got out of there in time. Regardless of how someone feels about quarantine, everyone has a limit of what they are willing to accept. Sure they may be very different limits, but we are starting to see protests now.

When all of this blows over, I wonder what the social environment will be like. Will friends be judging each other on how much they either quarantine or not. Will friendships and various relationships not exist anymore because people truly don't like how someone is acting during all of this.

I may have said this before, but I this is turning people up. So whatever someones personality was like before, now it is enhanced. So if they were a bit more extreme before, maybe they are noticeably more extreme now.

I think about my little family. Minding our business. Living like survivalists. Loving each other, and trying to avoid the world. I feel relief, and like we are dodging some bullets.
