My Family and The Resurrection

What a beautiful day! It is Resurrection day! So I am taking a side step from what my vlogs have been about lately, and I am going to talk a bit about the resurrection.

For years Stacie D and I have celebrated our God the best way we knew how, and we found out that it was watered down and it was lacking alot of actual meaning. For some of the most important holidays, we were being drowned in consumerism wearing a religious mask.

We found that what we were really seeking was more God. More understanding. So we started asking the hard questions. We started pushing the envelope a bit. We made sure that we were actually getting answers for the hard questions.

What we found was amazing! There is so much more than we had any idea. When we started connecting the dots, we found that there was so much more to our faith, and it was hiding just under the surface.

We have spent years now rearranging the things that we do with our family when it comes to celebrating our God. We put YHWH first in all things, and we live as disciples of Jesus. It is more than a simple belief and idea, but it is process of growth and faith. Taking one step at a time while being lead by the Holy Spirit.

I know that take my spirituality way out and about while I am making vlogs. I question everything. Shoot, I'm questioning what I've just written above haha, but that is who I am. I have no issue challenging everything that I think I know. I will never pretend to have all of the answers. I will only live as if I know what is best for me and my family.

So today, on this resurrection Sunday, we are celebrating with prayer and communion. Stacie D has made some home made unleavened bread and we got a bottle of wine. We do this as a choice and out of obedience.

When it comes to the concept of God, it is by far the most challenging thing that humans could ever try to understand. As I said above, I don't pretend to know everything, and I have to make the best decisions I can with the current information I have.
