Beautiful and Blue
I like to say that everyday is an adventure. It is all about how we respond to it. I like to respond with taking videos and photographs.
On the farm we have encountered a couple of different snakes. The first few were a dark military green color with a whitw belly. This one was a beautiful dark blue with a white belly.
I was sitting inside enjoying my day, and both dogns shot off of the porch. This usually means that something is afoot. So I jumped up as well, and they were barking at this snake right next to our house.
The dogs have naturally defended our property from snakes since they were puppies. They are fearless and always seem to be on a mission.
One time they dispatched two copperhead snakes. This encounter was not too smooth and resulted in my best pal George getting bit. I had to milk the black blood out of his leg. He was swollen fir a few days, then he was right as rain.
