A Look Inside #43: knee deep in FUD
When it comes to any sort of action, there is naturally a reaction. Often times it comes in the form of FUD. noun
fear, uncertainty and doubt, usually evoked intentionally in order to put a competitor at a disadvantage.
It doesn't even seem to only be in one place or one situation. It seems to be everywhere. Not even that people are trying to change the whole system, but just really impact their immediate area.
I think we can apply this concept to just about anything. I can remember that I first came to know Jesus when I was attending a missionary church in Ohio. I was hungry for information, but was advised to not ready other religious books because of XYZ.
There was a strong stance against even entertaining other peoples theories. Instead of being encouraged to read, listen, and grow from it..it was just the opposite. Do what you know, and don't ask those questions. Almost like a "you're either with us or against us" mentality.
I woke up this morning to a whole lot of FUD about the #Tron and #Steem business. There seem to be alot of opinions and "information" flying around. I think that it is pretty convenient that all of the "information" is timed with the sale of Steemit.
You can never really know someones motives behind the way they act. Maybe they fear change of any type. Maybe they have a vested interest and don't want something messed with. Maybe they don't like how something is going and they actually want to be in charge.
In my life I have witnessed alot of this sort of attitude. I have seen some pretty crappy actions that have been taken against people and businesses. I'm not sure why people are naturally drawn toward the negative, but that's not me.
I try to spread the light in the darkness. To be positive. To just be still. When the whole world seems to be going nuts, why can't we just hold steady. Steady Eddie. That's what I'm going to do. Just be.
