One Yeti's Perspective #306: Not What It Seems
Today I woke up thinking about things that aren't quite what they seem. Certain laws, holidays, traditions. I thought I would take a minute this mirning and share a bit if perspective toward some of those.
As the holidays approach, by holidays I mean CHRISTmas, I always love learning more about the traditions from other cultures that have influenced the celebration. Not to start a long discussion of right or wrong in the comment section, but to simply share my view. Life is good and God is great.

Beautiful vlog man, just discovered your channel. My family is quite similar. We dont go into the consumerism of Christmas, I personally dont care for the lights, the trees, or the tinsel either because I see it is a now meaningless display of vanity that I personally dont get any spiritual satisfaction from. Is it pretty? Sure, but it's also expensive and it doesnt give me fond memories. My grandma loves it and I live with my grandparents, so they do it to please her, but I agree with everything you said.

Right on. I do get excites when I am around it because I grew up with it. So my favorite music is Christmas music haha and the whole season is amazing. I just really try to draw a hard line and not get carriedbaway in the opposite direction haha.
