Rocky Peak Exploration
On the way into Simi Valley from Los Angeles, a great park exists with huge boulders and grassy hills. One weekend I got some friends together and we drove 45 minutes to the trail head. After a short walk there are just boulders everywhere.
The boulders were the size of small cliffs, others were the size of cars. Many to explore.
Looking into Simi Valley, a small city compared to Los Angeles.
It rained shortly before we got there, so the vegetation was lush and green.
We found a pound, gave us some relief since it was pretty hot that day.
Tadpoles swimming around, my friend tried to scoop them.
So many of them, I wonder how many became frogs?
Lastly me and my friend before we left, he sure seems happy behind me :-P
