I heard she was a subject of sith alchemy and rituals to lock her immense power and thats why shes got the tattoos - they r like sigils and seals locking the Force in her. But apparently those white-robed dudes from cinematic trailer, as well as shaving her head and tattooing her had nothing to do with the process... Thats why we need some Doc Oc green sun generators to fix her mind, or whatever...
