Random Guy Authorises Military Intervention
Venezuela is a sad story. Natural resources should be a blessing that brings wealth to the people, but quite often this is not the case. The resources invites corruption and foreign influence. The profits end up in elitist channels while the people are left with a corrupt authoritarian rule.
And as it seems things are not going to improve. A random guy called Guaido declared himself the new president. He doesnt have that much to show for and it is not clear how much he represents the population and how much the Venezuelans support him. But that does not matter as every western country has already recognised him as the legitimate ruler of Venezuela.
While this is a bit strange, usually the reaction of 'democrats' should be to call for new elections and an end to violence, it just got more bizarre. This Guaido guy has 'authorised' a US military intervention.
Notice the circular logic?
- The US declares somebody president
- That somebody authorises a US military intervention
- ???
Or in short, the US have given themselves the right to intervene.
Anything could happen. I hope for the best.

I hope you are right. But for the past 20 years the US has repeatedly invaded other countries. It might stop with Trump, but I am not that confident.

UN is not holding on its own values but jails people for ignoring them (f.e. Smoking joints)..
Western people are taught to be free and for example democratic, have the right to do so.. Now the masses need to 'wake up' cancel the current gouvernments and multi-gov.. And take it in their own hands.
I think Blockchains are going to be an important tool for publishing, organising/ structuring ideas and therefore also politics..

Something has to change for sure. Politics messes up again and again, but people keep voting them. I hope more will wake up and realise that almost all problems we have are not solved by governments but created by them.
