HEROES OR GREAT DOGS
Many have heard of Squirrel and Strelka, Pavlov's dog, but few have heard of Dorado-the handsome labrador retriever. Retrievers are characterized by their unlimited devotion. It's narrative that even the most catastrophic situation will not scare the animal, coming to the aid of the owner.
The attack on September 11, 2001 will shake the world. The war on terrorism is just beginning. People think how helpless they are before the threat of fanatics. Country United States of America, suicide bombers of the banned Al-Qaida organization seize aircraft from international airlines, sending two of them to the World Trade Center buildings, two to the White House. Three aircraft flew to their destination. Panic begins. The list of victims is increasing every minute. The surrounding reminds a children's horror story.
One of the towers became a hell for the blind from the birth of the programmer Omar Eduardo Rivera. Nearby is the faithful dog - the guide Dorado. 71 floor, it smells like burning, in the distance shouts are heard. The guide starts to behave unnaturally. The man understands that he can not get out of such turmoil. But to save a faithful comrade - there is a chance.
Omar unfastens the leash from the table and gives the command to escape. As later, when commenting on the situation, Rivera said: "I knew very well that I can not get out of this hell, but it's my duty to save the eared friend." After the ward escaped, the man already understood his doom. But what was the surprise when a few minutes later the labrador returned. It turned out that the eared person was looking for different ways of leaving the flaming building.
The leader began to raise his master in every possible way, pushing him to the door of the emergency exit. Later, on the way to the exit, they met a colleague of the programmer. Now they were moving together. The woman helped Omar, the fearless dog showed the way. So the rallied team was able to come down. Only going out into the street, in front of the trio, the building collapsed.
They were overcome by mixed feelings, simultaneously shock, from what was happening and relief that they could be saved. This legend once again proves that in the most dangerous situation, the devotion of a shaggy friend is unambiguous. The instructive ending of the narrative gives reason to be proud of four-footed.
