I am one of those people who is all about cryptocurrencies, I like the idea, I like all the ICO's that are produced and I like the different environment solutions the coins are bringing.

For example this Steemit platform we all love and want to keep on upgrading are accounts for higher Steem Power etc. The idea is brilliantly simple -
Create quality content, build yourself an community/followerbase - get paid.

This is every bloggers dream to do, and a lot of people are actually joining Steemit because of this reason. And I agree, it's amazing, the idea is bulletproof, as long as people don't freak out every time the value of something drops - either a lot or a bit. This is natural and this is supposed to be happening for the sake of ICO.

As of 7th January 2018 there are over 1384 cryptocurrencies available for people to choose, with the leading blockchain being Bitcoin, followed by Ethernum, Ripple, Bitcoin etc. So if this doesn't ring a bell how many opportunities there actually exists to fail investing in a crypto or to grow, than I don't know what will.

Cryptocurrency or to be more precise, people who are dealing with cryptocurrencies are the ones people look at with despise. What they don't understand is that it's more than just being lucky, you have to make investments smartly not to blow yourself in the loss.

Never invest more than you are afraid to lose.

What does this mean for Steemit community?

It means that Steem Dollar and Liquid Steem's value is lowered, our upvotes aren't as big as they were and also our post values get lowered. That's all pretty sad and stuff, but do you understand that you still get paid for posting? People are getting all grumpy for values being smaller etc, while they still earn at least something.

I know I will be hodling* and I suggest you to do the same

We all need to stay strong, positive and happy. We all have ups and downs in our life and so does the value of crypto. Don't take it so personally and truly believe in the things you want to believe in, don't let the media or ignorant people mess with your head!
