The World Wide Web of today can be said to be as powerful and disruptive as the Gutenberg printing press was in the 15th century. The methods and means with which information is collected, cataloged, distributed and duplicated has been a key factor in determining the effectiveness of societies throughout history. With the continued development of the Internet, the application of disruptive principles of open-source collaboration, and the impact of viral growth of social movements and contemporary philosophical memes, the World Wide Web is set for additional powerful expansions of information and thoughts.
Ad-Hoc-racy is an architecture concept for systems of networking and media dissemination that can be thought of as a philosophical blueprint for a new frontier in digital life for the masses. As it stands today, the Internet has become one of the most useful and utilized tools for the information age. As this tool progressed in development, standard practices of aggregation of control have turned a once free and unrestricted medium, into a more centralized Bureaucracy, infiltrated by intelligence agencies, media empires, and telecom robber barons. The goal of the information age was to distribute as much information, freely and openly, with little to no interference from centralized dominance hierarchies. But today, the openness and freedom of the Internet is being influenced and controlled by numerous Governments and monopolistic corporate powerhouses. The Ad-Hoc-racy architecture is a means by which the centralization of systems can be counteracted against utilizing free and open-sourced models of decentralized, robust, encrypted ad-hoc networks that are adaptable.
