DÉCIMO PRIMER CONCURSO: "PALABRAS INSPIRADORAS" / TODOS SON BIENVENIDOS! / #WORLD OF XPILAR

Esta es una palabra que muchos conocemos, pero que pocos aplicamos. Y es que la Humildad es ese sentimiento de dicha y satisfacción que produce el acto de ayudar a otros sin necesidad de recibir algo a cambio. Es esa felicidad que te da, el saber que un familiar, un amigo o incluso un completo desconocido, cumple sus sueños que tanto esfuerzo les han costado.

This is a word that many of us know, but few of us apply. And it is that Humility is that feeling of happiness and satisfaction produced by the act of helping others without the need to receive something in return. It is that happiness that it gives you, knowing that a relative, a friend or even a complete stranger, fulfills their dreams that have cost them so much effort.

Humildad, es esa persona que, aun teniendo poco, le da un pequeño trozo de pan al más necesitado. Es el vendedor de café en la plaza del pueblo o la ciudad. Es la señora a la que diariamente le compras un desayuno y ella te regala su más hermosa sonrisa. Es ese niño que vez en la calle y con su cara triste, te pide un poco de comida o un poco de agua.

Humility, is that person who, even having little, gives a small piece of bread to the most needy. It is the coffee vendor in the town or city square. She is the lady you buy breakfast for every day and she gives you her most beautiful smile. It is that child that you see in the street and with his sad face, he asks you for a little food or a little water.

Humildad es, esa cucharada de azúcar que le das a tu vecina sin pensar “Espero que me la pague pronto porque no tengo mucha.” Y es que este término, se refiere a aquella persona que sabe lo mucho o lo poco que tiene y en lugar de mal gastarlo o negarlo, lo invierte en una acción bonita. Son esos artistas o esos políticos a los que no se le sube el dinero, la fama o el poder a la cabeza, e invierten en fundaciones que contribuyan a un buen acto social. Y esto, no precisamente por cubrir una apariencia, sino simplemente por ayudar a los demás de verdad y con el corazón.

Humility is, that spoonful of sugar that you give to your neighbor without thinking "I hope he will pay me soon because I don't have much." And this term refers to that person who knows what a lot or what little you have and instead of wasting it or denying it, you invest it in a nice stock. They are those artists or those politicians to whom money, fame or power does not rise to the head, and they invest in foundations that contribute to a good social act. And this, not precisely to cover an appearance, but simply to help others truly and with the heart.

Por otro lado, la Humildad es saber que quieres llegar a un determinado logro o meta y no tienes la necesidad de pasar por encima de nadie para hacerlo. Al contrario, ayudas a los demás a llegar contigo. Es ese amigo al que ayudaste en un examen en el cual quizá tu sabías más que él. Es ese mensaje de aliento que le diste a alguien que lo necesitaba. Es ese consejo que le diste a una persona para ayudarlo a mejorar. Es ese obsequio que le diste a la persona que amas y no esperaste a que te devolviera el gesto, sino que te alegraste de que tu regalo… fue especial para ella o él.

On the other hand, Humility is knowing that you want to reach a certain achievement or goal and you don't have the need to step over anyone else to do it. On the contrary, you help others to reach you. It's that friend you helped in an exam in which maybe you knew more than he did. It's that message of encouragement you gave to someone in need. It is that advice that you gave to a person to help him improve. It is that gift that you gave to the person you love and you did not wait for him to return the gesture, but you were glad that your gift ... was special for him or her.

Un ejemplo de Humildad, es Steemit con sus respectivas Comunidades y Personal Responsables de las mismas, quienes diariamente ayudan a las personas a superarse y los motivan a ir creciendo más y más en cuanto a inteligencia, espiritualidad, creatividad, compañerismo, sociabilidad y sí… Humildad.

An example of Humility, is Steemit with their respective Communities and Personnel Responsible for them, who daily help people to improve themselves and motivate them to grow more and more in terms of intelligence, spirituality, creativity, companionship, sociability and yes... Humility.

Como dije al principio de este post, la Humildad es un concepto que todos conocemos, pero que pocos aplicamos. Y con esto quiero decir, que hay personas que aun sabiendo lo que esto implica, no hacen lo correcto y humillan y colocan a otros por debajo de ellos para llegar a la cima. Y eso no está bien, ya que Dios dijo y cito:

”Ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo”.

As I said at the beginning of this post, Humility is a concept that we all know, but few of us apply. And with this I mean that there are people who, even knowing what this implies, do not do the right thing and humiliate and place others below them to reach the top. And that's not okay, since God said and I quote:

"Love your neighbor as yourself."

Lo cual, no nos dice solo Amar sino Ayudar a todo aquel que lo necesite y cuando lo necesite. Ya que en algún momento (y quizá no lo esperemos)… Esa persona a la que ayudamos nos puede ayudar a nosotros. Como dicen por ahí: ”Un día estamos arriba y al otro no sabemos”. Es por ello, que este es un concepto que se debe inculcar en cada persona desde pequeños. Puesto que, hay que empezar desde los más pequeños para que el día de mañana, ellos sean personas que (como dice mi Tía-Abuela Ati) ”Hagan el Bien y lo Hagan Bien”.

Which does not only tell us to love but to help everyone who needs it and when they need it. Since at some point (and perhaps we will not expect it) ... That person we help can help us. As they say out there: "One day we are up and the next we don't know". That is why this is a concept that must be instilled in each person from a young age. Sin más que agregar, les invito a que busquen muy dentro de si y descubran ese hermoso sentimiento de felicidad por ayudar a otros llamado… Humildad y de esta manera (repito nuevamente)… ”Hagan el Bien y lo Hagan Bien.”

Fueron apróximadamente 625 palabras (y creo que aun me faltó por expresar jajajaj) y es que de verdad, esta palabra es algo que simplemente merece muuuucho más espacio textual para poder definirla bien jejejejejej.
