DID NOSTRADAMUS PREDICT TRUMP?

Michel de Nostredame, born in Provence, France in December 1503, studied in Avignon but was unable to complete his studies due to the outbreak of plague in the town.
For the next 8 years Nostredame traveled the countryside, learning about local herbal medicine. Using this knowledge he set up a small business as an apothecary.
In his spare time & under the Latin name of Nostradamus, he published a popular almanac of predictions inspired by visions received while meditating but he expressed his ideas in a cryptic & poetic way because he was nervous of being considered a heretic by the strict Catholic Church.
In 1557, at the age of 54, he published a book called Les Propheties (The Prophecies) which gave advanced warnings for the following 2,000 years.

Nostradamus’ prophecies were the talk of French society & Queen Catherine, the wife of Henry II of France, invited him to court. Nostradamus allegedly warned Henry against taking part in any jousting competitions.
In 1559, having forgotten the warning, Henry was fatally injured in a joust by a lance which pierced his golden helmet. Nostradamus had predicted that a “young lion” would “pierce his eyes in a golden cage” & as a result of the King's death the work of Nostradamus became notorious.
In one verse Nostradamus referred to a terrible war in Europe, there are mentions of Germany & a person named “Hister.” In another, he described a “hidden death” that reduced cities to dust overnight.
Many believe that this enigmatic figure predicted the French Revolution & the Great Fire of London too.
Recently some enthusiasts have stated that Nostradamus also predicted Donald Trump’s rise to the White House & the internet has been alive with speculations.
The disturbing prediction in question can be found in the third book of The Prophecies, a part of the French verse roughly translated as:
“The great shameless, audacious bawler.
He will be elected governor of the army:
The boldness of his contention.”
In another verse we find that a “false trumpet conceals madness” & this trumpet will “cause Byzantium to change its laws.” Byzantium is an ancient name for an area in modern Turkey which is very much involved with conflicts in the middle east.
Scholars of Nostradamus claim that The Prophecies go as far as to predict 3 separate “antichrists” & some suggest that Napoleon & Hitler were the first two.
So, maybe the third is Trump?
He certainly fits the description rather well, doesn't he?
