Note: With the opening of the iris I managed to highlight the contrast of the illuminated area with the dark area. On the other hand with the shutter speed and a precise shot I managed to freeze this moment when this Bengal Tiger took a bath.

Greetings my friends and followers of Steemit, in this opportunity I share with you some of my favorite photographs of animals, this mini-exhibition consists of 6 photos; 5 of them were made in a Zoo in my city and correspond to a job I did for one of my photography classes when I was just a student.

As usual I have opened the exhibition with my favorite photo and I have to say that this first image captivates me a lot; When I see her, I feel the same emotion as on the day I achieved this photograph.

Note: This photo was made using the negative effect of my digital camera and I took advantage of the moment to get the impression that the tiger is sticking out his tongue in a mocking way. On a few occasions I like to make images with a certain comic tone.

Note: In contrast to my previous photo here I managed to capture the moment when a tapir approached the door of his cage and growled with strength. I used a blue filter to dramatize more the image and express the frustration of this creature to be locked.

Note: One of the animals that I have most enjoyed photographing is this crocodile, because these reptiles usually maintain a pose for a long time while sunbathing. The framing I used for the photo gives the impression that he is preparing to attack but in reality he is just sunbathing.

Note: This photo was made by closing the iris to the maximum allowed by my camera, increasing the ISO and using the digital zoom. The idea was to dirty the image a bit to create a slight lack of sharpness that gives the impression of movement, in this case the crocodile seems to come towards us; but again this time the animal was still in the sun.

Note: This image did not correspond to my photographic work or the Zoo. It is certainly trivial to take a picture of a bird in flight with the sky in the background, everyone feels like doing it at some point and I have not been the exception and despite the trivial I feel very happy with the picture. In this case I placed it to close this exhibition since for me it symbolizes the freedom that these creatures do not have locked in zoos.
