Simple 3D image with Apophysis 7X
Hello! Today, we will discuss the principles of creating 3D fractals in Apophysis 7x. It's pretty simple to do if you know how! We are used to the fact that Apophysis generates 2D images, but 3D also can. True, this will not be a real 3D image, but only a pseudo-3D, but that's enough for the perception of a 3D object. In the network, there are many examples of three-dimensional fractals of Apophysis, and today we will learn how to build them. Well, let's start.
Open the program and create a new flame. Immediately go to the editor of the triangles and reset all parameters. The Julian parameter is set to 1.
` Julian = 1 Julian power = 3 Julian_dist = -1.6 `
Go to the Adjustment window and set the values as in the screenshot below. We need this to control the visualization and give the object a pseudo-3D.
Again, go to the triangle editor and create a new triangle.
All zero and set the following parameters:
` pre_blur = 2.5 hemisphere = 0.33 `
You can notice that it is already becoming visible.
Again, we create a triangle - the third one with the following parameters:
` flatten = 1 Julian = 0.66 Julian power = 3 Julian_dist = -1.1 `
Go to the selection of the gradient and choose a brighter.
Then I corrected the gamma:
After that, go back to the triangles:
- We change the position and size of the third triangle, I will not give the exact parameters, because it can be done by eye:
What do we see? That our fractal becomes more and more like 3D! But that's not all, we continue the witchcraft.
We pass to the first triangle and change the following parameters (in general, all parameters with the suffix "z" are intended to displace other indications of the parameters along the Z axis:
` zscale = -0.8 ztranslate = 0.2 zcone = -0.03 `
Note that the correct value of zcone = -0.03. In the screenshot there is an error.
Now go to the displacement of the first triangle. Turn it and rotate to about this position:
The parameter zcone = -0.034 I also pulled up a bit.
Now go to the Colors tab of the first triangle and move the slider to the desired position. Thus, we drag the gradient to the first triangle. The color became more pleasant.
Now include the imagination, twist a little triangles and gradients and proceed to the final rendering:
This lesson can be considered complete. I hope that the principle of pseudo-3D is now clear to all. I will soon continue publishing in this direction on the example of more complex drawings. All for now!
