First attempt on a sketching contest
Came across this contest during my day job and I think this is interesting. I think I’ve completed this under 10 minutes with only a black pen.

Breakdown
Simple outline.
Determine rough contour of lion face.
Basic shading to indicate the upper light source.
Tuning the hair.
Voila!
