⚽ WOX FPL GW21 Update and Contest Winner 🏆
Another frustrating Gameweek (for me anyway) with the late postponement of Everton v. Leicester.
2 Double Gameweek fixtures remained though with Brentford and West Ham both with their bonus fixture. My decision to take an 8 point hit to get Pinnock and Toney failing to pay off as they scored fewer points that Jota and Cash who would've played instead. Hopefully they're better against Liverpool and Manchester United in Double Gameweek 22 otherwise a big minus score will be coming my way.
Gameweek 21 Round-Up
With Mo Salah the most popular captain option despite being at the African Cup of Nations, it's clear that a decent proportion of players in the Steemit league aren't active and it was a 50/50 split between Jarrod Bowen and Michael Antonio for the DGW captain's armband.
Those that opted for Bowen will certainly be smiling as he outscored Antonio 21 points to 9 - a difference of 12 points and unsurprisingly our top scorer this week had opted for Bowen.
There may have been 2 teams who scored more points than @captain36's 84 (-4) but they haven't entered so congratulations to our league leader who wins this week's prize 🏆
Overall Ranking
With league leader @captain36 GW21's top scorer, it's no surprise to see him extend his lead at the top to 20 points. @the-gorilla is sat here rueing a couple of poor decisions which cost him 21 points but that's life as an FPL manager. Whilst dropping down to 9th place overall, @chenty drops to 9th place overall but retains his position in 3rd for the prizes.
Head-to-Head League
As @captain36 leads the Overall league, he is also comfortably fighting off the competition in the Head-to-Head league. With his closest challenger @the-gorilla narrowly losing to @jimah1k in this week's match up and @chenty beating richgang (who was disqualified for trying to enter 2 teams), @chenty moves up into 2nd place, with the gap to 1st surely too big to close at 10 points.

It's too late now but with so many games getting postponed, using any chips comes with a lot of risk. I'm saving mine for later in the season when they've made it harder for
Arsenalteams to get a match called at short notice with little reason.I see what you did there 😂. But it teams have worked their way around the rules and are abusing. It’s bad fpl become very tough😭
I've heard they'll be changing the rules soon so that the teams can't cheat. I heard that Liverpool had one game called off with a load of "false positives" - once it becomes "Covid only", then we'll probably see more of that!
