Great Cave
Mega Spilaio (great cave in Greek) stands on the opening of a large cave, at an elevation of 899 meters. It is considered to be the oldest monastery in the Greek territory, as it was founded in the year 362, about 10 kilometers northwest of the town of Kalavryta. During the 1648 years of it's history it has been destroyed and rebuilt 4 times!
