Shackles of despair

After Cyndy's burial, Victor felt lost and empty, he want himself anymore and he tired his best go make sure Simca was comfortable because he had no other person to turn to.

One morning as Victor wanted to go out, he just saw Simca with her luggage leaving the house, he ran up to her.

"Where are u going to with your bags love, wanted to take u out later in the evening, to maybe the mall" Victor said

"What mall, I'm leaving you Victor, I'm done here, the relationship is off, I'm done ok I've found someone better" Simca said

"Someone better?, You are all I have how can you do this to me, u can't leave me, please, is it the miscarriage, I can give you a child again, don't leave me, I'm begging you Simmy" Victor said

"Who the hell wants a child from you, get lost, I'm not interested in you anymore, u drank my milk earlier, that was my goodbye drink, bye and never want to see you again" Sima said

Victor was speechless, he wondered where be had gone wrong, why did one visit change his entire life, he felt empty inside.
He slept throughout the entire day, they next day he was going for classes but felt dizzy and fainted, next he knew he was being questioned by a group of masked men.
"Your awake nigga, confess you sins this moment to the camera and we might be so lenient to give u a less painful death" a man's deep voice screamed

Victor was weak and felt life leaving him, he couldn't say a word, but they kept on forcing him through torture, he almost died, then he screamed he would confess, they brought out a camera and place in front of him.

"I loved her girl but her friend was more pretty than her, that friend was so naive and fell in love with me with a few words, I practically used her, though I began loving her, but I loved the first girl more, then the first girl died, so mysteriously, I never believed it would happen, and I lost the only one left too, what's the use of living" Victor just said

One who had been acting as leader but never said a word whispered something and they switched off the camera, the person whispered something again and was given a knife, the person went closer and whispered something to Victor and then sliced his throat with the knife, Victor died.

Simca on the other hand moved in with Brian another guy whom she had been seeing, Brian and Victor were friends but Brian stole Simca from him, he was handsome and fair, and had a charming voice. Simca fell for everything he said at first, she went to stay with him.
She completed her university education but refused to get a job, to her she was living in luxury, Brian was way richer than Victor and they had a great time.

That was until she one day became unconscious and went for a checkup and saw she was six months pregnant, she was shocked but remembered her body type. She was happy and wanted to keep the baby but...

"I'm not having that thing called a child" Brian said when she informed him

"Is there something wrong with you, what do you mean by that, it's our child, and we will raise him together" Simca said

"I don't have that time, and I'm not ready to raise any useless child of yours, if you know what's good for you get rid of it" Brian said and left.

Simca was so annoyed, her mother called later
"Hello love, how is Victor?" Her mother asked

"What Victor, that's a dead man, I'm living with Brian, but I'm pregnant for six months and Brian doesn't want it, so I'll pretty much get rid of it" Simca said

"Get rid of another child, please have this child and let me take care of it, don't injure the child it did nothing wrong" Her mother said and Simca agreed.

Her mother was getting tired of Simca's lose life, she tried to change her daughter but to no avail, she really wanted her daughter to come home, it wasn't too late.

Simca kept the child, Brian came back and saw Simca going to the hospital.

"You didn't get rid of that bastard huh, who is taking care of that?" Brian said

Simca ignored him, she was having labour pains, she was taken to the hospital and had a baby boy, she named him Johnson.

Brian walked into the room "I don't know what's wrong with you this girl, I'm not taking care of that thing get rid of it" Brian screamed

Simca couldn't take and though under labor pains she screamed "Get out of here you lazy man, I'm sure it's none of your business right?" Simca said. The nurses told her not to scream again since she was still weak.

Johnson was taken to her mother, and Simca moves on with her life like nothing happened.
