Clearing my Head While Watching the Whales 🐳🐋

Hey guys,

With markets rolling over and having got another 1:3 risk:reward from my Bitcoin flip short, I’m flat but still feeling a bit meh about the markets.

I’m jagging bits and pieces here and there from short term trades, sure, but my overall portfolio still feels the pain. Pain that sucks most of my blogging motivation away with it.

So what happens when I’m not feeling it? I get the heck away from my charts and clear my head looking out to sea:

Pretty cool to see whales swimming by, spraying water from their blowhole and even sometimes jumping out of the water.

Whales are amazing creatures and I feel pretty lucky that I can clear my head away from markets, just chilling with these guys. 🐳🐋

Have a great night!

✌🏻.

Fuck the markets with this kind of nature right before you

Really sir you so great man

I know, i am right? :)

Please sir upvote done

I don't see it, where did you do it?

Hey @shucona. Please don't just go blog to blog and beg randoms to upvote your low quality junk. Instead, how about you try to actually contribute to the conversation and earn them? Just a thought.

Thanks @furious-one, for calling out this garbage. I'll upvote you instead.

Markets will bounce ;) I live near the sea, but not lucky enough to see whales passing by! Enjoy the view!

Thanks pardinus. Humpback Whales migrate up the east coast of Australia each year to breed in warmer waters. It's actually crazy how many you can see from ocean cliffs like this.

A great sign for the population :)

True! Australia is still on my bucket list! We do have whales in Portugal, but best chance to spot them is on Açores islands. Wasn't lucky when I went there... but hoping that will change on the next try!

Ah awesome man. Good luck!

Thanks! Hope you don't need to see whales in the near future, it would be a good sign ;)

I've been out of stock trading for a while now but I know the feeling. When the market is moving erratically your brain gets frazzled looking at charts and fundamentals. Looks like you have a peaceful retreat from that hectic world to clear your head. Good for you. Mine was sitting on the side of a lake with a fishing pole in my hand...frustrated because I couldn't find the bait the fish were hungry for. :)

Fishing is meant to be a relaxing escape, but if you're catching nothing, it can be the total opposite. It takes a certain personality to be a fisherman! :P

A bit like cooking actually. Frustrates me when I get things wrong.

Yeah I hear you, I don't have that ocean view but I do find its go through certain rituals when we see down turns: 1) don't check prices. (Im not trying to sell, and Im bullish longterm, so stop checking daily), 2) turn to other interests: reading "12 Rules for Life | An Antidote to Chaos" by Jordan Peterson. 3) Steem-on!

have an awesome day!

Thanks for sharing your routine mate. I'll have to check out the book you're reading.

I see you've delegated out your SP. Can I ask where?

I have never seen a whale before. They are impressive animals. Must be amazing to dive with them. :)

They're majestic indeed. I have never had the chance to dive with them myself.

Put it on the bucket list! :)
