Soviet poster #10
I love the Soviet posters. It is something in between a poster of the new movie and comics. Each of them makes sense not for everyone. I will try to translate the idea of each poster.
The meaning of the poster:
Dad shows young son example. He stimulates it to active sports. In hand the boy a book with rules "ГТО" (rus). "ГТО" (rus) - ready for labor and defense (physical education of the population)
My commentary:
In the Soviet Union was a very developed sport movement. It encompasses all spheres of human activity. There was a single norm "ГТО" (rus). Each age had its own standards. For their passage, had to be wrung out from a floor, pull up on the bar and run a distance for a while. Who couldn't do was considered weak in the society (except for the disabled). It served as a good stimulus for the physical development of each person.
