A Visit To Accra's Osu Castle - Always Friday's
Every Friday the Osu castle is open to visitors and I would highly recommend for you to plan your Accra visit so you're there on a Friday. The Osu castle was definitely one of the highlights (besides visiting Jamestown ). I would also like to suggest to visit the castle before closing time because then you get that beautiful sunset light, reflecting off the water which lays just outside of the castle.
When you enter the castle you'll be greeted by a guide sharing the all the history this places holds. It's rich and fascinating. The tour is free but the guide might appreciate a little tip.

That's gorgeous, really looks like a place you can imagine inspiring awe at some point - the location is incredible!
Visiting the castle was such a surprise. So many different influences and style and wait until we post about the history of the castle!!! One thing which will be stuck with me from now on, was the Door Of No Return!
