Ulog 9 - A birthday party
It was my cousins' birthday back in March, held at my Uncle's apartment. They are born in the same month so they have decided to celebrate their birthday at the same time. This is what we Filipinos do to save on money. Well, most Filipinos I know anyway.
The date was March 17 and right after walking around the city we drove to my Uncle's straight away. Got there just in time to blow the cake.
This is Mark, I call him Mokong, just a nickname I gave to him when growing up. We Filipinos tend to give our relatives names other than their real name.
He turned 32 as it says on his cake. I don't know what he wished for but he smiled right after making one. This is him and us singing him the Birthday song.
The other birthday celebrant is much cuter. Meet my cousin Jerlyn, we call her Onay. I don't know where she got that name, ask my Uncle.
She was so eager to blow her candle that she blew it out before we could sing her birthday song. Had to light it up again and again. Oh and she is 3 as you can see.
It was a great party with everyone laughing and celebrating together. Can't wait for the next family party.
