The reason I'm writing about this guitar that I picked up about 4 years ago is that this thing is just simply amazing for the price. Back then if I remember correctly it was about $250.

This guitar is not my first, my first guitar was a fake Gibson, bought at Philippines by my brother for a measly sum of just under $20. It wasn't a great guitar but it provided good enough sound to learn on.

It is for someone who wants to learn and probably one of the best guitar to learn on. The Ibanez PC12MH is a great sounding guitar with a cheap price tag. Cheap but has plenty of good qualities.

Sometimes the technical aspect of it is not really important for beginners or for someone who really don't care as long as it sounds great. There's no point talking about it but the beautiful mahogany is what really attracted me to it.

The sound it makes is quite mellow in the lower strings and can be bright high up. It makes a nice sound when you fingerstyle.

It is also small and compact. Great for people who are looking for something smaller for their body. Hence it's great for the kids.

If you are just starting out, grab yourself an Ibanez PC12MH. The price may not seem serious but it sure plays like it. Seriously.

Hard to tell from the photos you took, I'm guessing it's the same size as the guitar we bought for my oldest when he was a bit younger. It hasn't been played for a while so probably needs a good tuning. Small acoustic guitars at least still sound nice, unlike mini basses XD

My bass guitar wasn't seriously priced either but sounds pretty good, and as far as I'm concerned, sounding pretty good is all you need when you're learning. You can upgrade to true audiophile when you feel good enough to do so/can hear the difference. Currently I still can't XD not that I've played in the last decade.

Eheheeh yeah, when you can tell what note each chord and each string makes then everything will be so much easier. I can recognize 3. B, B minor and Bb, hahaha... I still play but haven't had a lesson in a year. I stopped 3 months in of fingerstyle playing.
