LFC LAST BID FOR KEITA

After seemingly failing to alter the firm stance of RB Leipzig's hierarchy in their first two attempts, Liverpool are to make a third - and final bid - for their star midfielder Naby Keita.

Although the German club have so far been unmoving in their position to accept an offer for Keita, the Reds remain optimistic that a substantial bid could prove extremely persuasive.

That substantial bid is said to be worth €84m and is understood to be the final offer from Liverpool who are attempting to convince Leipzig that their 56-per-cent mark-up on the player's €53m release clause next summer is too enticing to turn their backs on, according to the ​Independent.

The Guinean international has previously been subject to bids of €64m and €74m from Liverpool, which have been repeatedly rejected by the Bundesliga outfit.
