A Very Nutty Chocolate Ice Cream

This is one recipe that, just the thought of it can make one really excited and even fantasize about how delightful it would be to lick and crunch on this awesome ice cream. It would be a pleasure to share with you one of the ways of how to make your own ice cream, at the comfort of your own home. 

A quick recipe to make a hot summer day perfect by satisfying your cravings.

I call this one “ tha nutty chocolate ice cream” because it has got lots of nuts in it. Nutty chocolate ice cream is very delicious, crunchy, quite easy to prepare and you wouldn't need to use an ice cream maker for this one.

Here are the ingredients needed to make this ice cream as nutty as possible:

2 cups of heavy cream

2 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder

1 can of condensed milk 400g

2 ounces of chopped semi-sweetened chocolate(I prefer to use Galaxy milk chocolate)

½ cup of unsalted chopped roasted hazelnuts

½ cup of unsalted toasted almonds, chopped

¼ cup of unsalted chopped walnuts

½ cup of miniature marshmallows

First of all you would need to prepare and measure all your ingredients. The procedures are quite simple.

Step 1

Pour the condensed milk into a bowl as well as the unsweetened cocoa, using a whisker, mix them very well and make sure that the cocoa is totally dissolved.

Step 2

Add the chopped chocolate, almonds, hazelnut, walnuts and marshmallows to the cocoa mixture. Mix them well together, making sure that the cocoa mixture and the ingredients have been properly spread, and then set aside.

Step 3

Put the heavy cream in a  mixing bowl, using a mixer, whip the cream at medium speed until the cream is firm, this would usually take about 4-6 minutes. When the cream is firm, add the coca mixture to the whipped cream and fold in.

Finally, put the mixed content into a container and put a lid over it and freeze for 4-6 hours.
