"The Batman" is already looking for the actor who will play the villain of the DC Comics movie

Matt Reeves' 'The Batman' movie is still in the script writing phase and, although it is no longer a priority for Warner Bros. Pictures, it seems to be going ahead even though there are not many details about it or these have been quite rare. The most widespread rumor to date related to this production of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) is that Matt Reeves wants to tell the story of a young Bruce Wayne in his early days as the Gotham Bat and that, obviously, that would be a replacement for Ben Affleck to put an actor with less age in the movie of 'The Batman'. A rumor that has been boosted by the fact that Ben Affleck has had to go back to a detoxification clinic and a rehabilitation center to combat his addiction to alcohol. On the other hand, it has been spoken of that this new delivery could be the beginning of a trilogy of the Murciélago Man and that would take some smaller influence of classic cómics like Batman: Year One of Frank Miller. But where does Oscar Isaac enter in all this?

Omega Underground (via Geeks WorldWide) has published that some sources have assured him that Oscar Isaac, known for being Poe Dameron in Star Wars and for having starred in films like 'Ex Machina' or 'About Llewyn Davis', has met with Warner Bros. Pictures to sign an "undisclosed paper" in "The Batman." Although a formal offer has not been made, it is said that the interpreter himself is very interested in being part of Matt Reeves' production. While his role is unknown, it has been reported that the studio aims at a top actor in the Hollywood industry to play the film's main villain.

Who will be the villain of the movie?

Variety recently suggested in a rumor on Twitter, through Justin Kroll, that The Penguin was going to be the villain that would appear in the film and claimed that, if Matt Reeves wanted to use it in 'The Batman', it could end up being presented in the spin-off of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) of 'Birds of Prey'. However, as you know, things are constantly changing in the DCEU and in 'Birds of Prey' it has already been confirmed - more or less - that Black Mask will be the main antagonist.

The Walt Disney Company will start shooting the live-action adaptation of 'Pinocchio' in 2019.

It seems that The Walt Disney Company has found in the live-action his hen of the golden eggs and a way to re-exploit the classics that made us fall in love with children. The film of 'Pinocchio' after months of rumors and speculation began its filming during the next year 2019.

The success achieved last year by the live-action adaptation of 'Beauty and the Beast' has opened the doors for the other Disney characters.

'Beauty and the Beast' premiered last year 2017 and its success was spectacular, production costs amounted to 160 million dollars and revenues at the international box office far exceeded one billion dollars making it one of the most blockbusters of history.

The directors of Disney automatically set up the machinery to adapt to live-action more characters like 'The Lion King', 'Dumbo', 'Mulán', 'Aladdin' or 'The Lady and the Tramp'. Some of them are already in full shooting, now it is confirmed 'Pinocchio' will be the following.

Last February the news was confirmed that Paul King, director known for the films of 'Paddington' was being tested by Disney to take over the film. Previously the Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes ('American Beauty') left the project for creative differences. The script is by Chris Waitz ('Rogue One') and the release date or the cast members have not yet been confirmed.

"It will be shot in England and Italy next year. We are still in the development phase, shaping the script, so there have been no discussions about the casting, but we are very excited about the project. "

The film of 'Pinocchio' could reach the cinemas in the year 2021 and from Cinemascomics we are eager to see it.
