As dusk turns into dawn
As day replaces night
As birds sing their gentle morning songs
I think and smile

As I walk the cold, quiet streets
As I ignore life's struggles and fights
As I listen to their melodious tweets

As the sun gets brighter
As it gets warmer by the mile
As from my burdens, I feel now feel lighter

As I get close to home
As I resolve within me that I'm fine
As I realize that soon I will no longer be alone
