THE DIARY GAME SEASON 3 (2021-01-23): Each day provides its own gifts.

I was up at 5 am. it was very cold this morning, so I stay in the warm blanket. Before I could notice it was 7 am, I had to take my bath at the time. Due to the cold weather, I had to heat water. I usually take my bath with cold water, but this morning it was different. I could not bear the cold, so I went for hot water. After taking my bath, I prepared for work. It was late, so I took a cab. On like other Saturdays, I will walk to the office. Well, due to my laziness this morning. I will have to take a Cab to work.

I got to the office, and I was the first person at the office. I did the cleaning of tables and other surfaces. Before settling down to start my day. We don't have coffee at the office. I have not had coffee for a while. But definitely, next week we will have coffee. I had huge projects to work on. One was a new project, and the other was an in a house project update. I start working, up to about midday, I was done with the first. I took a break. This was just relaxed my legs since I have been sitting for a long.

Later, when I started the second task. I had some challenges which push me to do some reading to find a way to solve the problem. I'm happy I got to that point because I got to learn.

• Problem

Incorrect datetime value: '0000-00-00 00:00:00.000000' for column 'last_update' at row 1

• Reasons

The default SQL mode in MySQL 5.7 includes these modes: ONLY_FULL_GROUP_BY, STRICT_TRANS_TABLES, NO_ZERO_IN_DATE, NO_ZERO_DATE, ERROR_FOR_DIVISION_BY_ZERO, NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER, and NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION.

Since 0000-00-00 00:00:00 is not a valid DATETIME value, your database is broken. That is why MySQL 5.7 version and above, which comes with NO_ZERO_DATE mode enabled by default – outputs an error when you try to perform a write operation.

So I understood the problem I was facing. I had two options to fixed this problem. I don't like changing my default setting on my applications. So I created a default date value to handle the situation, and everything works fine. At that point, I closed for the day and came back home.

On my way home, @tenguhatanga gave me a call that her laptop had a problem. I told her I was home, and she said I needed to look at it first. So I asked her to brink it over, my family had gone for the weekend. I went through it and told her the screen was okay. She was too worried about the look. So I told her the case can be changed, but that will cost her.

When she left, I watch the second game of the day. I miss the first game, but I got the scores. The game ended in a (1:1) draw. The most interesting to me about the second game was the fact that it was referred to by ladies. I could not take my eyes off the screen to see how good ladies can do this in an African competition.

The game ended with Tanzania taking the day one goal and zero for Namibia. It was at this point I wrote my diary game and went to bed.
