My Dog Has Far TOO MUCH ENERGY !!
At just 6 months old there's just no stopping my Springer Spaniel Puppy Charlie, he's NUTS!!
The weather was beautiful even if a bit cold here in Northumberland on Saturday, so we thought a nice walk with Charlie might just wear him out, well no bloody chance!!
When we reached the top of the Simonside Hills near Rothbury Charlie was already well ahead of us, however when he spied me lying down for a this low angle shot of the sun over the mountains, he thought it was a perfect excuse to run back and pounce all over my head
I've been told ive got this crazy behaviour to look forward too for at least another 3 years then he might just calm down a bit, but hey I do love him to bits. We live in such a great part of the UK and the scenery is stunning, so having an active dog like Charlie is ideal for getting me into the great outdoors.
Ive got some cracking posts of Charlie from last month when together we decided to climb the highest mountain in Wales, Snowden. I'll do a post later this week if you'd like me to share some of Charlies first real mountain.
Oh and if by any chance there are fellow Springer owners out there who can tell me how i get this hyper-active little shit to come back when he see's another dog then I'd love to hear your techniques, because dog treats just don't work.
