A Little Wasp for the Headache - MyPictureDay [EN] // Una Pequeña Avispa para el Dolor de Cabeza [ES]
Yesterday and today have not been easy days, between a strong headache and a strong fall with a blow on the forehead included from My Mathias have kept me away even from my regular daily activities, being a mom is not easy at all, that's why I told you a couple of days ago, that we should not only entertain them and show them our love one day a year, if not every day. Early today after taking Mathias to the clinic for a discard check, we stayed in the garden of our house looking at the plants and putting water on them, he observed these little wasps on the cotton plants and right away he told me "mommy, take a picture of them"
Mathias always watches me while I take the pictures that I share with them and even stays quiet so that the insects are not scared off, then he asks me to show them to him, he is really fascinated with every little animal that I manage to capture, I think he will like photography just as much or more than me, although I must say that I know nothing about photography at all, I try to learn from the best, by example of what I see they can do, besides my phone is not that it helps me much to capture good shots, however, I can not stop sharing with you, it really encourages me that I have seen photographs worse than mine hahaha
I have recently seen this challenge and it seemed appropriate for my publication today to share these photographs with you as my photo of the day. This little paper wasp was with two others collecting nectar from my cotton plants, which I have to say I cut down a couple of months ago because the monarch caterpillars were killing them and they looked awful. This week they have started blooming again, which is something that surprises me, because even though they were cut and left without a single twig or leaf, they are blooming again at the same time as they did last year. This makes me think of how wonderful nature is, the memory of its root is intact, and therefore it blooms as if it had never been cut.
Paper wasps or paper wasps, although similar to yellow jacket wasps, are harmless, you can usually find them collecting nectar from flowers or in the fruits of some trees, I always remember seeing them in the mangoes that fall to the ground in my father's farm. Personally I love to see them doing this, although I always try to keep my distance, I have been left with some traumas from wasp stings.

Ayer y hoy no han sido días fáciles, entre un fuerte dolor de cabeza y una fuerte caída con golpe en la frente incluido de Mi Mathias me han mantenido alejada incluso hasta de mis actividades diarias regulares, ser mama no es nada fácil, por eso les comentaba hace un par de días, que no solo debemos agasajarlas y demostrarles nuestro amor un solo día al año, si no todos los días. Hoy temprano luego de llevar a Mathias al ambulatorio para un chequeo de descarte, nos quedamos en el jardín de nuestra casa viendo las plantas y poniéndoles agua, el observo estas pequeñas avispas en las plantas de algodoncillo y enseguida me dijo "mami, tómales una foto"
Mathias siempre me observa mientras tomo las fotografías que les comparto e incluso se queda calladito para que no se espanten los insectos, luego me pide que se las muestre, realmente se fascina con cada animalito que logro capturar, creo que le gustara igual o más que a mí la fotografía, aunque yo debo decir que de fotografía no sé nada en absoluto, trato de aprender de los mejores, con el ejemplo de lo que veo que pueden hacer, además mi teléfono no es que me ayude mucho a capturar buenas tomas, sin embargo no puedo dejar de compartir con ustedes, realmente me anima que he visto fotografías peores que las mías jajaja
Recientemente he visto este reto y me pareció apropiado para mi publicación de hoy compartir con ustedes estas fotografías como mi foto del día. Esta pequeña avispa del papel se encontraba con otras dos más recolectando néctar de mis plantas de algodoncillo, que tengo que comentar que las había cortado hace un par de meses porque las orugas monarcas estaban acabando con ellas y la verdad es que se veían espantosas. Esta semana nuevamente han vuelto a comenzar la florescencia, lo cual es algo que me sorprende, pues aun cuando fueron cortadas y dejadas sin una sola ramita u hoja, están echando flores nuevamente en la misma época que lo hicieron el año pasado. Lo cual me hace solo pensar en lo maravillosa que es la naturaleza, la memoria de su raíz quedo intacta, y por lo tanto florece como si nunca la hubieran cortado.
Las avispas del papel o avispas papeleras, aunque son similares a las avispas chaqueta amarilla, son inofensivas, por lo general las podrás encontrar recolectando néctar de las flores o en las frutas de algunos árboles, recuerdo siempre verlas en los mangos que caen al suelo en la finca de mi padre. En lo personal me encanta verlas haciendo esto, aunque trato siempre de conservar la distancia, me han quedado algunos traumas con las picadas de avispas.

Mathias siempre me observa mientras tomo las fotografías que les comparto e incluso se queda calladito para que no se espanten los insectos, luego me pide que se las muestre, realmente se fascina con cada animalito que logro capturar, creo que le gustara igual o más que a mí la fotografía, aunque yo debo decir que de fotografía no sé nada en absoluto, trato de aprender de los mejores, con el ejemplo de lo que veo que pueden hacer, además mi teléfono no es que me ayude mucho a capturar buenas tomas, sin embargo no puedo dejar de compartir con ustedes, realmente me anima que he visto fotografías peores que las mías jajaja

Las avispas del papel o avispas papeleras, aunque son similares a las avispas chaqueta amarilla, son inofensivas, por lo general las podrás encontrar recolectando néctar de las flores o en las frutas de algunos árboles, recuerdo siempre verlas en los mangos que caen al suelo en la finca de mi padre. En lo personal me encanta verlas haciendo esto, aunque trato siempre de conservar la distancia, me han quedado algunos traumas con las picadas de avispas.
Aunque estas pequeñas y esta fotografía no tiene nada que ver con mi dolor de cabeza y el golpe que llevo mi hijo, fue un momento que nos ayudó a los dos a distraernos, la conexión con la naturaleza siempre nos ayuda a liberar el estrés y a despejar nuestra mente de problemas, entonces una de las mejores cosas que podemos hacer en estos casos es capturar el momento.
