About DGD and Digix
DGD are Digix tokens, which are used for governance of Digix. The first product that Digix released is a gold backed token, DGX.
The Digix ecosystem comprises two parts:
- a Proof of Provenance protocol which enables a DGX token to represent 1 gram of gold; and
- a governance protocol with DGD as the governance token which builds a fully decentralised, self-governing system for DGD holders to participate
